Développer en utilisant les identités remarquables :
a) \((x + 7)^2\)
b) \((3x - 2)^2\)
c) \((x + 4)(x - 4)\)
Voir la correction›
Rappel des identités :
- \((a + b)^2 = a^2 + 2ab + b^2\)
- \((a - b)^2 = a^2 - 2ab + b^2\)
- \((a + b)(a - b) = a^2 - b^2\)
Partie a) — \((x + 7)^2\)
On identifie \(a = x\) et \(b = 7\), puis on applique \((a+b)^2\) : \[(x + 7)^2 = x^2 + 2 \times x \times 7 + 7^2 = x^2 + 14x + 49\]
Partie b) — \((3x - 2)^2\)
On identifie \(a = 3x\) et \(b = 2\), puis on applique \((a-b)^2\) : \[(3x - 2)^2 = (3x)^2 - 2 \times 3x \times 2 + 2^2 = 9x^2 - 12x + 4\]
Partie c) — \((x + 4)(x - 4)\)
On reconnaît la forme \((a+b)(a-b)\) avec \(a = x\) et \(b = 4\) : \[(x + 4)(x - 4) = x^2 - 4^2 = x^2 - 16\]
